Sennheiser signs Selective Distribution Agreement (SDA) with ASM Technologies
9th July 2013
Sennheiser's range of business headsets now available to the IT channel through ASM's unified product portfolio.
ASM Technologies, the agile technology distribution company for the IT channel, has signed a Selective Distribution Agreement (SDA) with Sennheiser to supply its range of headsets designed for the business and contact centre markets to its reseller customers. ASM Technologies has a long standing relationship with Sennheiser and the new SDA forms part of Sennheiser's 'Compass 2013' initiative to ensure consistency in standards of service delivery for customers.
ASM Technologies is a unique technology distribution company in the IT sector which helps Systems Integrators (SIs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to consolidate their unruly supply chains. ASM achieves this by offering the IT channel access to a broad portfolio of over 800 manufacturers, vendors and publishers from over 2,500 suppliers through one single supplier interface. As a result of this new agreement, ASM Technologies can now add Sennheiser's range of business headsets to its expanding product portfolio, allowing its reseller customers to meet their customers' growing demands for UC (Unified Communications), BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and Audio-Visual solutions.
For ASM Technologies Stephen Dale, Hardware Channel Manager, stated "This new Selective Distribution Agreement reinforces the bond we already have with Sennheiser. Our clients demand excellence in both product quality and service delivery and this new Agreement endorses ASM as a trusted and qualified supplier of Sennheiser business headsets."
Sennheiser can offer business customers UC optimised headsets for both wireless and wired applications, such as the DW wireless series and Circle wired series providing integration with UC solutions. Sennheiser's solutions are renowned for their excellent sound quality and strong features and the DW series was the recipient of Frost & Sullivan's 'Most Innovative European Communications Product of the Year' award for 2012.
Commenting for Sennheiser UK, Jane Craven, Director of Telecom Sales said, "We're very pleased to be continuing our relationship with ASM Technologies through the new Selective Distribution Agreement. We look forward to working with our friends at ASM Technologies to serve the needs of their client base."
